
Supplements Manager- Shrewsbury

The Supplements Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the supplements and wellness department at Green's Natural Foods. This role ensures excellent customer service, accurate inventory management, staff training, and alignment with organic and natural product standards. The Supplements Manager serves as a knowledgeable resource for customers while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage ordering, receiving, and stocking of supplements and wellness products
Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor expiration dates, and handle product recalls
Supervise, train, and schedule department team members
Provide customers with general product information and education (without offering medical advice)
Ensure products meet company standards for organic, natural, and ethical sourcing
Collaborate with vendors and buyers to introduce new products
Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and visual standards
Ensure compliance with FDA, DSHEA, and company policies
Track sales, margins, and department performance goals
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
3 years leadership experience; preferably in Supplements/Nutrition.
Ability to successfully lead and motivate a team.
Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments.
Effective communication with store manager, supplements associates, and other team members.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Familiarity with stock management processes and retail math concepts is advantageous.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a busy retail setting.
