Job Title: Caregiver Recruiter & Administrative Assistant (PRN Required)
Position Summary
The Caregiver Recruiter & Administrative Assistant plays a dual role in supporting the organization’s staffing and operational needs. This position is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified caregivers while also providing administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day office operations.
This position requires PRN (as-needed) availability, which is a non-negotiable condition of employment.
The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Caregiver Recruitment & Staffing
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications
Coordinate and manage the hiring process from initial contact through onboarding
Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate records
Ensure all caregivers meet compliance requirements (background checks, certifications, etc.)
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified caregivers
Collaborate with scheduling staff to ensure client staffing needs are met
Administrative Support
Provide general administrative support including answering phones, emails, and office correspondence
Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
Prepare reports, documents, and internal communications
Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee records management
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
PRN Requirement (Non-Negotiable)
Must be available to work on a PRN (as-needed) basis to support staffing gaps, urgent hiring needs, and office coverage
Availability may include evenings, weekends, and short-notice shifts
Flexibility is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the business
Candidates must acknowledge and agree to PRN expectations as a condition of employment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
1–3 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative support (healthcare or home care preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A computer / technolgoy proficiency test will be given as a condition of employment
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software is a plus
CNA's preferred but will consider PCA's with appropriate experience. Anyone without certification will not be considered for this position.
