The Human Resources Coordinator plays a central role in keeping our Human Resources operations running smoothly. This position provides day-to-day administrative support, maintains accurate employee records, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. As a key point of contact for employees and managers, the Human Resources Coordinator helps create a positive, consistent experience while supporting the fair and effective application of HR processes.
What you’ll do:
Greet and assist employees and visitors to HR in a professional, welcoming manner.
Support day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Keep employee records accurate and up to date within HRIS systems.
Assist with benefits programs and respond to employee questions.
Help coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
Track hires, terminations, PTO, and attendance.
Prepare HR reports and documentation as needed.
Handle government compliance reporting, including EEO-1, EPRC, IDES claims, and other required reports.
Support corporate policies and partner with managers to apply them fairly and consistently.
Assist with DEIB initiatives, employee events, and special projects as needed.
Manage HR paperwork, including processing, filing, and shredding.
Collaborate closely with the HR team.
Maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee and HR data.
Take on additional duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role preferred.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.
Experience working with ADP or a similar HRIS/payroll system.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).
The pay range for this role is $55,000-$60,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
