Responsibilities and Opportunities
Manage and deliver accurate weekly and monthly client accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close in QuickBooks/QBO
Prepare client-ready financial statements and reporting packages; clearly explain results to business owners and internal teams
Perform variance and flux analysis to identify issues, root causes, and practical solutions
Build and maintain recurring client reporting packages and dashboards (KPIs, key metrics, and narrative insights)
Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes (documentation, checklists, and close calendars)
Partner with client owners/management to resolve accounting issues and improve decision-ready reporting
Supervise, review, and coach associates by assigning work, providing clear direction, and enforcing quality standards
Contribute to special projects and process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction
Requirements
3+ years of experience providing accounting services in public accounting, strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Must possess the required credit hours for CPA licensure eligibility
Ability to work in the office a minimum of 2–3 days per week
Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation skills
Advanced Excel proficiency (reconciliations, rollforwards, data cleanup, reporting)
High integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple client engagements
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and dedication to delivering exceptional client service
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accounting designation
1+ years of proven supervisory or mentor experience
Passion for problem-solving and being a technical resource for team members

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on their and the firm's performance. The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$98,000. Individual salaries are determined based on multiple factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
