Required Skills

Advanced expertise designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise‑grade Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards
Deep proficiency in DAX, including complex measures, calculation groups, time intelligence, performance optimization, and debugging
Strong experience with Power Query (M) for complex data transformations and reusable dataflows
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:

Fabric Lakehouse architecture and OneLake
Dataflows Gen2
Semantic models and Direct Lake
Integration with Fabric workloads (Pipelines, Notebooks, Warehouses)

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star/snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, surrogate keys)
Advanced SQL development skills across SQL Server and/or Oracle, including:

Complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and query performance tuning
Data validation and reconciliation between source systems and reporting layers

Experience implementing row‑level security (RLS), object‑level security (OLS), and data sensitivity labeling
Proven ability to optimize report performance at scale (large datasets, incremental refresh, aggregations)
Strong experience creating executive‑level visualizations and storytelling using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable analytical solutions
Experience supporting production BI solutions, including monitoring, debugging, and root‑cause analysis
Preferred / Advanced Skills

Experience working in Agile delivery models (Scrum and/or Kanban), including backlog refinement and sprint planning
Microsoft certifications, such as:

DP-600 Fabric Analytics Engineer (or equivalent Fabric credential)

Experience with legacy reporting platforms (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects or BW)
Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning outputs, or advanced analytics consumption within Power BI
Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on reporting standards and best practices
Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 6 years relevant business/technical experience includes three (3) years specific reporting, data analytics, or related technical development/deployment experience. Master's Degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
Job Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
Additional Functions

Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements

Experience with Agile development methodology and working on an agile team.
Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
Excellent presentation design and delivery skills.
Ability to lead/facilitate cross‑functional teams and meetings.
Credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
