Metro Parks SW9/ Sound Tech

This position handles the technical production elements of Metro Parks Music Summer Concert Series and assist with general Cultural Arts Division needs as hours allow. Typical duties include:
Set up and operate audio systems for summer concerts
Mix live music performances
Perform non-technical tasks that are essential for a successful event
Perform load in and out – including loading and securing equipment in a truck
Miscellaneous tasks assisting within the department
Candidate must have a valid driver license and be able to work nights, weekends and capable of working outdoors in all types of weather. Heavy lifting is involved in the duties of this position.
Work hours vary and include evenings, weekends & holidays. Rate of pay is $19.50 per hour. Up to 20 hours per week. (4 positions available).

The POWER Youth program, previously known as Opportunity NOW, provides career exploration and work experience activities for youth 14 to 24 years old. The name POWER Youth was selected by the peer youth leadership team based on how they view themselves and their future.
