Overview
Novastar Prep is seeking an experienced
Digital SAT instructor
to teach
in-person SAT preparation classes
in Lanham, MD. This position is for educators who are already fluent in the
Digital SAT format
and can lead a structured classroom with confidence from day one.
Responsibilities
Teach Digital SAT Reading, Writing & Language, and Math with emphasis on test strategy, pacing, question analysis, and score improvement.
Deliver classroom-based instruction; this is not general homework-help or entry-level tutoring.
Qualifications
Prior experience teaching or tutoring the SAT.
Demonstrated familiarity with the Digital SAT platform and adaptive test structure.
Ability to clearly explain test strategies to groups of students.
Strong classroom management skills and professional communication.
Bachelor’s degree (required).
Minimum of 1 year of SAT teaching or tutoring experience.
Expert-level knowledge of the Digital SAT format and question types.
Ability to teach in person in Lanham, MD.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Ability to commit to at least one academic semester.
Basic comfort using digital teaching tools.
Ability to pass a background check.
Compensation and Benefits
$45-$55 per hour for in-person instruction (DOE).
Bi-weekly direct deposit.
Curriculum and instructional materials provided.
Administrative, advising, and scheduling support.
