Purpose Statement
The Production Coordinator will work closely with the Production Group Leader, performing both administrative and hands‑on tasks. The role involves approximately
70% time on the production line
and
30% administrative duties , including scheduling, reporting, and staff coordination.
Support daily production schedules by assisting with associate placement and task coordination to meet production orders
Spend significant time on the production floor monitoring workflow, safety, and quality expectations
Maintain compliance with
GMP, food safety, and plant safety standards
Assist with preparing, organizing, and submitting production, safety, and performance reports
Support documentation accuracy and completion of required paperwork
Communicate production issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly to minimize disruptions
Assist in training, coaching, and motivating associates to support productivity and engagement
Rotate breaks and lunches for associates to maintain line performance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Basic math and computer skills (data entry, reports, basic systems)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift up to
50 lbs
Ability to work in both
hot and cold environments
Familiarity with basic production scheduling, coordination, or problem‑solving (training provided)
Ability to work various shifts, including overtime or weekends as needed
