
Dough Mixer

Job Summary
This position is responsible for preparing dough for production lines and to assure quality and safety of the product.
Essential Job Functions
Reviewing and understanding formulas.
Prepare work area and check equipment.
Receiving, counting, verifying and recording lot numbers and quantities.
Responsible for programming the industrial mixer, checking dough temperature and making adjustments if necessary, placing dough into dough troughs, labeling and dating each batch made.
Able to add ingredients to the dough mixer as required per formula instructions.
Complete the required production paperwork and systematically report all material used and the return form for all ingredients left at the end of the shift.
Report to upper management when equipment needs maintenance and to the supervisor or manager when accidents or incidents occur.
Training new hires.
Food Safety Responsibilities
All employees are required to immediately report and assist in the elimination or control of any food safety issues they observe to their supervisor.
Monitors and enforces cGMPs.
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Pre-requisite programs.
Education, Skills & Other Requirements
Ability to understand written and verbal direction in English and/or Spanish.
Ability to use office equipment, scanners, computers, etc.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Adaptability to multi-shift environment.
Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for 8+ hours.
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 Lbs.
Frequently push/pull up to 50 Lbs.
Exposure to temperature change.
Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.
Hearing ability with appropriate protection in high-noise areas.
Ability to walk through production areas.
Schedule
Must be able to work any shift.
