This role supports the environmental function within the Legal Department by assisting environmental staff with compliance-related activities and providing general administrative and clerical support.**Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:*** Track and manage environmental compliance tasks across multiple facilities to support timely completion.* Maintain and update compliance tracking systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.* Maintain organized hard copy and electronic records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.* Assist in the preparation and submission of reports and correspondence to regulatory agencies, including environmental permit applications.* Work with environmental staff, facility managers, and other internal stakeholders to gather information, track progress, and support compliance-related initiatives.* Assist with purchasing and procurement processes related to environmental services, including coordination with vendors and contractors.* Provide administrative support across multiple functions within the Legal Department, assisting with a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operations and coordination.* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned**.****Skills, Knowledge, Qualities:*** Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines* Effective time management and organizational skills* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and follow up on deliverables* Working knowledge of recordkeeping and compliance-related processes* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)* Experience with tracking systems, databases, or compliance software preferred**Education, Training, Experience:*** High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree in Environmental Science, Legal Studies or a related field preferred.* 5 years of experience in administrative support with compliance, regulatory, legal, or environmental exposure.**Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:*** Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver’s license that are an Oklahoma resident.* State Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) preferred or must obtain within first year of employment.* Required to obtain 24 hours of continuing education in a 2-year period to retain CPO.**Physical/Mental Requirements & Working Conditions:*** This position is mainly in an office environment**Other information:*** Position is located at the Administrative Center in Chouteau, Oklahoma* Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications* Highly competitive benefits packageIf you’re passionate about growth, teamwork, and making an impact, you’ll love building your career with us.
