Job Description
Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for an Integrated Language Arts position at Liberty High School for the 2026-27 school year. The role will help students learn subject matters and skills that facilitate maximum learning experiences and contribute to their development as mature, capable and responsible adults; create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students; guide the learning process toward the achievement of curricular goals.
Employment status: Certified, 185-day employment contract
Qualifications for the position include:
Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring). NOTE: If you are an ESC employee, intern, off‑staff advisor/coach, short‑ or long‑term substitute, or student teacher you must apply as an external candidate.
External candidates must submit an external online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring) and complete an online Teacher Candidate Assessment. A letter of interest and current resume must be uploaded in the Attachments section of the application. The assessment is a timed assessment; please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before beginning the process. Once the assessment is started, it must be completed within the designated time frame, and multiple attempts are not permitted.
