Responsibilities
Represent the hotel at the main entrance by greeting arriving and departing guests enthusiastically and courteously; direct traffic at the main entrances to ensure luggage assistance for all guests.
Read luggage tags and provide claim tickets; grasp, lift, and move packages and luggage from vehicles, place them on baggage carts, and store them in a secure area.
Retrieve luggage from storage for checking‑out guests.
Greet guests immediately with a friendly welcome and replenish stock in the Suite Shop.
Respond to guest inquiries regarding hotel features and assistance; provide clear directions to facilities and attractions.
Assist in loading luggage carts from storage for guests.
Answer the Luggage Assistant station’s telephone and provide accurate information.
Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor, remaining calm during heavy business volumes.
Advise housekeeping as necessary to maintain a clean hotel entrance.
