
Golf Instructor (Part-Time)

Overview
The Golf Instructor role will instruct Topgolf Guests in golf skills in individual lessons or in groups, conduct youth academies, and provide instruction & guidance for large group events. The Golf Instructor will be responsible for hitting specific lesson booking/revenue targets & utilization goals on a recurring basis. This position will be a part time role that is expected to work 15-25 hours per week, the majority of which will be spent teaching. Instructors that succeed in the role may be considered for full time instruction positions.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, schedule and teach Guest lessons and classes
Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories, and integrate teaching aids in all programs
Assist in the operation of Topgolf Kids Academies
Serve as a golf professional for Topgolf Events and Tournaments
Work with the events team to promote lessons at Topgolf events
Walk the tee line to generate leads and bookings (when not engaged in golf instruction)
Supervise information requests regarding or pertaining to scheduling of lessons and instructional series
Perform club fittings & sell golf equipment to Topgolf Guests and Students
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years experience teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers
PGA Membership a plus
Proven track record of successful instruction
Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all Topgolf Guests
Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology
Ability to work on a team
Energetic and enthusiastic
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time
Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs
