Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Junior Estimator / Project Manager Assistant
to support our restoration team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in construction, restoration, or project management. You will work closely with experienced estimators and project managers, assisting with job documentation, estimating, coordination, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing estimates using industry software (e.g., Xactimate)
Support project managers with scheduling, job tracking, and coordination
Conduct site visits for measurements, photos, and documentation
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members
Help maintain accurate job files, reports, and project updates
Track materials, labor, and job costs
Ensure projects are progressing on time and within scope
Assist with insurance documentation and claims processes
Qualifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Previous experience in construction, restoration, or estimating is an asset
Experience with Xactimate is considered a strong asset
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
