Security Officer Service Patrol – LOS ANGELES, CA
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Day Time: Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing, employee access, and other security‑related procedures aligned with the location’s policies.
Support closing and opening routines, observe high‑traffic and restricted areas, and communicate clearly with staff and/or emergency services during critical situations.
Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
