
Entry Level Assembler (Manufacturing)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime Required)
Location: Slingerlands, NY (on Bus Route)
Position Summary
The
Production Assembler
is a key contributor to the manufacturing operation, supporting the assembly and production of electro-mechanical systems and components. This role requires hands‑on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. The ideal candidate thrives in a team‑oriented environment and is dedicated to meeting production goals efficiently and safely.
Core Responsibilities
Perform hand assembly of sub‑systems and components (electro‑mechanical assemblies)
Read, interpret, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions
Operate manual hand tools and power tools for assembly and validation tasks
Use material handling equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues with systems, sub‑systems, and components
Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and OSHA regulations
Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience (electro‑mechanical preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Experience using hand and power tools safely
Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing production demands
Basic computer skills with the ability to complete transactions accurately
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality
Team player with effective communication skills
Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
