Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for leading and driving projects to success? We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in commercial projects, and to make a significant impact in a growing company. As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet the project's timeline, quality standards, and budget constraints.
* Review and interpret project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work, including cost estimation and scheduling.
* Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to plan and resolving any issues that arise.
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
* Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and clients.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards, conducting regular site inspections and audits.
* Manage project risks, including the development of contingency plans.
* Implement project management processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager in the Construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
* A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* A thorough understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
* Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
* A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
* The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work under pressure.
* Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
