Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and analyze complex, multi-disciplinary project schedules using MS Project and/or Smartsheet.

Collaborate with customer, project managers, project engineers, and test engineers to define task sequences, dependencies, and resource allocations.

Collaborate with team members on a regular basis to gather scheduling updates and ensure alignment with project timeline.

Support planning and execution of risk mitigation projects and test campaigns.

Identify schedule risks, perform critical path analysis, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Deliver clear, actionable schedule reports and visualizations to stakeholders at all levels.

Ensure alignment with NASA/JSC project and program milestones.

Qualifications

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a field or related area.

5+ years of experience in technical scheduling, project management, or test operations.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, including resource leveling, baselining, and custom reporting.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferences

Familiar with Johnson Space Center (JSC) organizations, processes, and procedures.

Prior experience working with fast paced projects or areas of Human Spaceflight hardware.

Background in aerospace, systems engineering, or test environments.

Essential Functions & Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).

Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).

Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Other Essential Functions
Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

Security & Eligibility

Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency may be a requirement for this position.

Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
