Training and Equipment Coordinator (TEC)
Summary:
This non-supervisory key position oversees and provides tactics, techniques, and procedures training for all Technical Support Specialist (TSS) staff across all Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) and within the CBRN preventative mission space. It also oversees the CDL Drug testing program as well as all CDL Training, reoccurring renewals, and medical monitoring. Additionally, the TEC creates and manages records of TSS training and provides documentation to federal government and maintains equipment and standards proficiency of TSS staff. Personnel must be capable of supporting surge deployments, intelligence-driven operations, National Special Security Events (NSSE), and steady-state detection missions. Travel, extended hours, 24/7 shift work, weekends, holidays, and recall during contingency operations may be required.

Job Description
Oversee and provide tactics, techniques, and procedures training for all TSS staff within the CBRN preventative mission space.
Oversee CDL Drug testing program and all CDL Training, reoccurring renewals, and medical monitoring.
Creates and manages records of TSS training and provides documentation to federal government.
Maintains equipment and standards proficiency of TSS staff for both full time and tasked based support staff.
Supports and documents monthly drills of TSSs’ on their ability to utilize CBRN detection equipment and appropriate protocols.
Supports headquarters staff in updating, augmenting, or changing policies and protocols to better support CBRN detection and operations for the program.
Ensures that all Federal and contract personnel receive first aid training
Leads and facilitates all operational communications needs to include planning, deploying, and maintaining communication equipment.
Prepared to interact, manage, and operate a physical logistics hub that can provide equipment maintenance, receive and distribute equipment, and provide centralized tracking of assigned gear for all MDDP Regions
Ensures standardization between all MDDP Regions
Qualifications

7 years minimum operational experience
Planning CBRN detection operations
Managing logistics for national special security events (NSSE), Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR) Events, enhanced steady state, steady-state, and surge operations.
Demonstrate tactics, techniques, and procedures for CBRN detection operations.
Minimum of 5 years of communications (Radio 700/800 Band / SAT/ Data Mesh), as well as logistics, certified trainer, and management skills.
Secret Security Clearance
Able to lift/carry equipment up to 50lbs.
Have a Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL B) or ability to obtain within 3 months following contract award
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for performance of duties
Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Travel 50 – 75% during the year
