Position Overview
Operates as an Ops Support Assistant at levels I, II, III or Sr depending on qualifications. Provides general office support and performs clerical duties such as routine typing, filing, answering phones, copying and collating materials.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative duties within the department as may be required.
Perform data entry for specific work functions, including time entry for multiple construction projects, invoice processing, work request job scheduling and closing.
Provide project assistance as directed by department leadership.
Maintain Records Management Custodian responsibilities, including file maintenance, reporting and compliance with internal and regulatory records retention policies.
Assist in coordination of workplace safety audits, prepare associated reports, safety materials, budget requirements, and gather relevant information. Assist in on‑boarding process and maintain employee training records and files.
Be willing to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education and experience: Clerk‑Specialty I – 0–2 years, Clerk‑Specialty II – 2–4 years, Clerk‑Specialty III – 4–6 years, Clerk‑Specialty Sr – 6+ years.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Entergy Corporate applications (DSS, DIS, CTS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, Service Suite, AM/FM DFM & Time and Labor). Familiarity with CCS and all company policies. Excellent written and oral communication. Willing to work extended hours. Self‑starter with high initiative, willingness to learn new processes. Excellent multitasking and teamwork.
Certification
May require certification and/or license as required for specific positions.
