Job Description
Northwest Elementary is seeking dedicated and flexible
Substitute Teachers
to join our team. Substitutes play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning by providing high-quality instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Responsibilities:
Deliver lesson plans and instructional activities provided by the classroom teacher.
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
Follow school policies, procedures, and routines.
Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, playground, and other assigned areas.
Communicate with staff and administration as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Education degree preferred).
Prior experience working with children is strongly preferred.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and follow directions.
Positive attitude and commitment to student learning.
