We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated 5th Grade Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.
As a 5th grade teacher, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning students into their upper elementary years. We utilize evidence-based curricula to ensure our students succeed:
Success for All (SFA): You will implement this comprehensive literacy program to build strong reading and comprehension skills.
Illustrative Mathematics: You will guide students through a problem-based curriculum that fosters deep conceptual understanding and mathematical fluency.
At St. Hilary, our educators are more than just instructors; they are vital members of our parish family. We are looking for a candidate who:
Engages in Parish Life: Actively participates in the liturgical and social life of the school and church.
Goes Beyond the Classroom: Is eager to support the school community through extracurriculars, committee work, or parish events.
Bilingual (Spanish/English): Highly preferred, as it helps us better serve and communicate with our diverse community.
Requirements
Committed to Catholic Education and practicing Catholic
Knowledge of content standards
Prior teacher experience in elementary grades preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
