Job Summary
We are seeking a Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. The Steward/Dishwasher will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold sanitation standards.
Qualifications
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Team player with good communication skills
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, flatware, glassware, and cooking utensils using dishwashers or by hand
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
Dispose of trash and recyclables in the appropriate bins
Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
Follow health and safety guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dishwashing and cleanliness maintenance
