Position Overview
Long Term Occasional Teacher – French Immersion SERT, 0.1 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE).
Location and Schedule
Location: Fred A Hamilton. Schedule: Day 3 Mornings.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $52,974.00 to $119,975.00, prorated to FTE. Salary grid based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Effective from September 1, 2025.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long-Term Occasional Teacher will provide continuous, high-quality French immersion education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
Qualifications
FSL Part 1
Special Education Part 1, Primary
Effective Date
Immediately, unknown; employment will not exceed June 26, 2026.
Employment Conditions
Long-Term Occasional positions will end if the incumbent returns to work. Vacancy status: existing vacancy.
