is actively searching for a
Medical Office Manger
to join our team at our location in
Wheat Ridge, CO.
The
Medical Office Manger
is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, welcoming environment for all patients, families, and visitors while performing the requested duties. These duties will include interviewing patients and/or families to obtain all demographic and financial information, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying patient insurance, explaining financial responsibility to patient or patient representative, and collecting same‑day payments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manages the training and onboarding of new team members
Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process
Leads regular staff meetings and associate one‑on‑ones
Monitors and approves timecards
Initiates and participates in staff performance evaluations and ongoing development of team members including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/ or terminations when necessary
Defines job responsibilities/specialty tasks and priorities
Develops and monitors the teams’ performance through a QA process
Establishes employee schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate department coverage (5%)
Completes other tasks and projects as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2‑3 years Lead/Supervisor experience in a healthcare setting
