Job Summary
FlexForce Pros are seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Control Associate to support warehouse and materials operations at an industrial facility in the Kenner, Louisiana area. Job Duties
Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations
Enter, update, and monitor inventory data using warehouse management or inventory control systems
Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials and products
Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and accurate manner
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and verification
Assist in locating, organizing, and optimizing storage locations
Operate warehouse equipment as assigned (pallet jacks, forklifts when applicable)
Follow all safety procedures while keeping work areas clean, organized, and hazard‑free
Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced industrial warehouse environment
Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Education or GED.
Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or inventory‑related experience
Strong experience with inventory control, stock management, or cycle counting
Basic computer skills required, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to accurately record and track inventory movements
Valid Driver’s License
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Forklift operation experience or willingness to be trained
Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or large‑scale warehouse environments
Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally without assistance
Good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination
Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse setting with varying temperatures and noise levels
Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
