Description
The Grants Coordinator assists in the day to day operation of the grants administration, subcontract, award and overall review process.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of data collection and pertinent data for the submission of new grant proposals and non-competitive renewals.

Liaison among appropriate investigators, consultants, sub-contractors and the institution to facilitate the process.

Assists the Grants Administrator/Manager or senior Grants personnel in the creation, implementation or revision of department Policies and Procedures.

Coordination of subcontracts and award notices, other support page preparation, data entry, and file management.

Liaison between the grants and contract offices, the IRB, finance, Info Ed, and Principle Investigators and their research staff.

May also serve as the head of Info Ed Super User, an online grant submission software package.

Grants administration, budget review and preparation including complex program project grants

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

0-1 years of related experience (additional preferred, as is specific experience in grant guidelines and policy)

Compensation
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $66482.07 - $70000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
