Job Summary
Mixing Operators will measure and compile ingredients as well as set up, operate and monitor machines that mix or blend materials, such as chemicals, fragrances, etc.
Responsibilities
Operate mixer equipment per established procedures.
Completes assigned paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner.
Performs or assists with mixing and/or staging of ingredients to be mixed.
Verifies correct ingredients are used in batch.
Follow all safety requirements required by company policy.
Ability to provide on-the-job training to new employees.
Verifies mixing instructions from batch ticket are followed for every batch.
Work without supervision to produce quality product in a safe, clean manner following GMP's.
Supports daily operations by mixing products per the current schedule.
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
Clean equipment by following current Standard Operating Procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Chemical compounding experience a plus.
Good mathematical abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess a sense of urgency, high energy and a great attitude.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work safely in a wet, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, crouching and lifting.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to use pallet jack.
