Position Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to support equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Compensation & Growth
Base Pay:
$28.25/hour
Shift Premium:
$2.50/hour (3rd shift)
Additional Earnings:
Up to
$13.25/hour
in increases through a structured training and progression program
Technicians have the opportunity to increase their hourly rate by completing company-paid technical courses and gaining tenure-based increases during the first few years of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime
Read and interpret schematics, prints, and technical documentation
Identify root causes of equipment issues and implement long-term solutions
Document maintenance work and repairs within a CMMS system
Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and standards
Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams
Order and manage parts as needed for repairs
Operate equipment such as forklifts or lifts when required
Support training efforts and share knowledge with team members
Maintain organized and clean work areas
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong technical knowledge in areas such as:
Mechanical systems
Electrical and circuitry
Pneumatics and fluid power
Basic plumbing
Math and problem-solving
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and prints
Experience troubleshooting equipment using PLCs is a plus
Familiarity with CMMS systems
Understanding of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and hazard communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting
Training & Development
Completion of
5 company-paid technical courses
is required as part of the role
Additional voluntary coursework is available to support continued pay increases and skill development
