Job Summary
The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting coaches is paramount. The position involves hands‑on involvement with practices and games across all age groups and skill levels.
Responsibilities
Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values.
Supervise the overall operation of the designated sport on game day.
Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
Qualifications
Sport‑specific coaching experience and knowledge.
Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently and solve problems.
Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends for the full season (~7 weeks).
Compensation
$20.00 per hour
