Our client, a leader in Building Automation and HVAC Controls, is seeking a Systems Commissioning Technician to join their team. As a Systems Commissioning Technician, you will be part of the Field Operations / Service Department supporting Building Automation, HVAC Controls, and Service Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, technical problem‑solving ability, and a customer‑focused mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$26 - $39 per hour
What’s the Job?
Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
Load and configure system‑level controller software and perform diagnostics from controllers to field devices (sensors, actuators, etc.).
Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls issues, including warranty calls.
Calibrate systems using electronic test equipment and complete all required commissioning documentation.
Communicate job status, recommendations, and solutions to customers, contractors, and management, including upselling opportunities.
What’s Needed?
Associate degree or vocational training in electronics, mechanical systems, HVAC, computer technology, or related field and 3+ years of industry experience, or 4+ years of HVAC service experience.
Working knowledge of HVAC controls systems, Building Automation Systems (BAS), and facilities management systems.
Ability to program HVAC‑related software and confidently use PC‑based diagnostic tools.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Commitment to safety standards, documentation accuracy, and professional customer representation.
