Job Summary
Instruct the Rocky Hill High School Front Ensemble for the 2026-2027 season, including summer band camp, evening rehearsals, and Saturday competitions.

Responsibilities

Teach mallet and concert percussion to students in grades 8–12.

Attend a 2‑week summer band camp and the 2‑week fall marching band season.

Participate in Tuesday and Thursday night rehearsals and Saturday competitions.

Collaborate with marching band staff and the band director.

Manage a pit group of approximately ten musicians, including marimba, vibes, xylophone, mallet stations, guitar, bass, and auxiliary rack.

Qualifications

Energetic and passionate about percussion.

Experience teaching mallet and concert percussion to varying ability levels.

Marching band and drum corps experience preferred.

Team‑oriented and able to work with established band staff.

Compensation
Anticipated stipend: $1,350.
