Description
The Ecommerce Sales Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing Murphy’s Naturals’ digital commerce channels, including Amazon, DTC (Shopify), and other online marketplaces. This role plays a critical part in driving online sales growth, maintaining best-in-class product content, and ensuring seamless day-to-day ecommerce operations.
This individual will manage marketplace health, monitor performance, support promotional execution, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing and external partners to enhance the customer experience and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Channel & Catalog Maintenance:
Manage day-to-day operations for Amazon, Shopify, and retail marketplaces. Proactively resolve listing suppressions, compliance flags, and content inaccuracies. Lead SKU setup and variation management for both domestic and international account onboarding.
Content & Conversion Optimization:
Own the strategy and execution for Product Detail Pages (PDPs), A+ content, and Brand Storefronts. Partner with Marketing to maintain brand consistency and provide expert digital input during new account onboarding to ensure high conversion rates.
Promotional Execution:
Design and execute the DTC promotional calendar, including discount codes and site merchandising. Coordinate campaign launches with Marketing and share all digital promotions with Sales Admin for master calendar integration.
Performance Tracking & Insights:
Monitor and report on KPIs (sales, traffic, conversion, and reviews). Identify performance trends and suggest actionable execution changes to accelerate growth across all digital channels.
Partner & Compliance Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for e-commerce agencies and retail partners. Support brand protection initiatives (unauthorized sellers) and ensure all listings meet regulatory and platform-specific documentation requirements.
Education & Experience
Qualifications
1–3 years of hands‑on experience in ecommerce, digital sales, or marketplace management (preferably in CPG or retail).
Direct experience managing platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, and Shopify.
Experience optimizing product listings (PDPs, A+ content, keywords, imagery) to improve conversion and discoverability.
Proficiency in ecommerce analytics and reporting (sales, conversion rate, traffic, reviews), with ability to translate data into actions.
Experience working with cross‑functional partners or external agencies to execute ecommerce initiatives.
