Licensed 2-20 Commercial Account Manager – Property & Casualty
We are growing and looking for a full‑time, licensed 2-20, Commercial Account Manager – (Property and Casualty). In this role, you will manage day‑to‑day operations of our mid‑size to large and most complex client accounts, with potential for future growth.
Responsibilities
Play an essential role in business retention by building, expanding, and solidifying business relationships with existing and new clients based on your assigned book of business. You will have retention goals.
Determine risk requirements by analyzing coverages, exposures, and loss experience. Take the necessary steps in placing coverage(s) required by the client, re‑marketing when required, and adhering to binding authority set by the carriers.
Negotiate with underwriters and carriers.
Prepare and issue summaries of insurance, proposals, and binders of insurance.
Answer customer questions regarding products and services by quickly diagnosing and solving the problem(s).
Upsell and cross‑sell opportunities by selling additional coverage(s) to clients to enhance client retention and relationship management.
Provide marketing support to new business production and renewals when required.
Handle day‑to‑day client inquiries and policy servicing (policy changes, endorsements, policy checking, contract reviews, etc.).
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Service team, overseeing and directing inquiries, managing client service needs, and coordinating work allocation across the team.
Assist Agency Manager with interviewing, selecting, and training employees.
Provide insurance consultation or expert advice and ideas to the Agency Manager.
Attend client meetings as needed.
Keep current with insurance markets and changing coverages within the industry, including participating in insurer networking events.
The Attributes We Seek
Florida 2-20 General Lines License in good standing.
Three (3) years of commercial insurance industry experience.
Insurance designations such as AAI, CIC, CPCU, or other certifications/designations (highly valued).
Knowledge of AMS360 (preferred).
