Technical Recruiter (Cleared Talent) – 1099 Contract
Location:
100% Remote
Compensation:
$20-25/hour (1099)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support our growing client base by identifying and placing cleared talent across a variety of technical roles. This is a fully remote, contract (1099) opportunity ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and thrives in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
What You’ll Do:
Source, engage, and recruit candidates with active security clearances (Secret, TS/SCI, TS/SCI with Poly)
Partner with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and hiring priorities
Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer stage
Build and maintain strong pipelines of cleared technical professionals
Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, clearance-focused job boards, and internal databases
Conduct candidate screenings and assess technical qualifications and clearance status
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience recruiting candidates with active U.S. security clearances
Strong understanding of cleared recruiting processes and compliance considerations
Experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data engineers, systems engineers, etc.)
Ability to work independently in a remote, contract environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience using ATS and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, etc.)
Nice to Have:
Existing network of cleared professionals
Experience supporting federal or government contracting clients
