ConGlobal is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented
Customer Service Representative
to join our team. The primary role is to establish and maintain strong relationships between ConGlobal and our customers while ensuring the accuracy of all equipment records and activities. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, providing accurate repair estimates, coordinating equipment surveys, and maintaining consistent communication with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and foster strong relationships with ConGlobal's customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of customers’ equipment inventory, repair status, and all relevant activities.
Develop and maintain professional and effective communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
Input repair estimates for the owners of equipment and obtain necessary approvals from lessors and/or owners.
Schedule and coordinate equipment surveys and adjust repair estimates based on feedback from surveyors, owners, or lessors.
Update TEC system when equipment is repaired and ensure all relevant data is logged accurately.
Prepare and manage daily billing paperwork for repaired units.
Responsible for compiling and submitting monthly storage and handling billing reports.
Coordinate scheduling of on‑hires with the yard supervisor and assist with prioritizing equipment repair with the shop supervisor.
Update TEC system with sales equipment repairs and movements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree or relevant certifications in customer service or logistics is a plus.
Proven experience in customer service, logistics, or a similar field.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Detail‑oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with TEC systems or similar inventory management software is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Must pass a pre‑employment background verification which may include criminal background check, physical and drug screening.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude toward resolving customer inquiries and issues.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, including sales, yard, and shop supervisors.
Good time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
