
People Operations Coordinator - Missoula

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive
People Operations Coordinator
to support our remote‑first software company headquartered in Missoula, Montana. This role plays a critical part in both People Operations and Recruiting, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and employees across the full lifecycle. You will attract, engage, and hire top talent while ensuring a thoughtful and consistent candidate and employee experience.
Full-Cycle Recruiting (Core Focus)
Own end-to-end recruiting for assigned roles (intake, sourcing, screening, coordination, offer, and close)
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring plans, and candidate profiles
Proactively source and build diverse candidate pipelines using multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, etc.)
Conduct initial candidate screens and guide candidates through the interview process
Coordinate interviews as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and interviewers
Manage and improve the candidate experience from first touchpoint through offer acceptance
Partner with leadership on offer creation, negotiation, and closing
Track and report on recruiting metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, conversion rates)
Manage ATS (Greenhouse) workflows, job postings, and pipeline activity
Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and employer branding
Culture & Engagement
Assist with organizing and executing employee engagement initiatives such as employee engagement, wellness, recognition programs, and special events.
Support employer branding efforts to position the company as a great place to work
Participate in People Team projects and programs as needed
Manage and scale awards & recognition programs that drive engagement and enhance the company’s workplace experience, including supporting the administration of awards & recognition programs by tracking nominations, compiling reports, and assisting in communications.

Support onboarding and pre‑boarding to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employee
Assist with employee lifecycle processes (promotions, transfers, offboarding) as needed
Provide administrative and program support on ad‑hoc initiatives, lead and directed by HR or Exec Leadership
What We’re Looking For:
Ability to drive cross‑functional alignment with leaders and teams.
Proven ability to manage full‑cycle recruiting independently
Strong sourcing skills and ability to build pipelines proactively
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to balance speed and quality in a fast‑paced environment
Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Rippling)
Familiarity with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.)
Candidate‑first approach with a focus on experience and relationship‑building
Adaptability and comfort working in a remote‑first environment
Data‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Location: This is a remote, U.S.-based role and you must live and reside in the U.S. full‑time.
Compensation: The annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
