Job Description
Schedulers coordinate and manage the schedules of the facility that operates in various modalities. Schedulers ensure that patients are correctly scheduled for procedures. The scheduler’s responsibilities include rescheduling and canceling referral appointments and verifying patient’s demographical information. You should also be able to ensure that sufficient time is allocated to each appointment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred.
Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
