ABOUT THE ROLE
Valley Interior Systems is seeking a motivated, Purchasing Coordinator to support project operations and create an efficient material flow across projects.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Set up new jobs and phases in the ERP system to support accurate project tracking, cost management, and billing.
Manage material sign-outs for Valley and Prefab jobs, ensuring all items are tracked correctly and priced accurately.
Prepare, review, and process purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate; resolve discrepancies with suppliers as needed.
Maintain and update inventory records by recording material receipts and shipments promptly to ensure accurate stock levels.
Coordinate closely with Project Managers and internal teams to support project timelines, including communicating delivery schedules and vendor payment status.
Monitor procurement activities to ensure materials are available when needed and aligned with project requirements.
Maintain organized records of purchasing and inventory transactions for reporting and auditing purposes.
WHO YOU ARE
Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory coordination preferred.
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management processes.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and with external vendors.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or prefab environments.
Understanding of job costing and project-based accounting.
