
Dispatcher - Ford Parts Wholesale Delivery

Core Purpose
The dispatcher coordinates and controls the flow of wholesale parts orders from the dealership to body shops, independent repair facilities, fleets, and other wholesale customers. They ensure parts are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Order Coordination
— Review incoming wholesale parts orders, verify availability, and prioritize based on urgency, customer type, and delivery routes.
Route Planning
— Assign delivery routes to drivers, optimize stops, and adjust plans based on traffic, weather, or urgent add‑on orders.
Communication Hub
— Act as the central point between:
Parts counter staff
Wholesale customers
Delivery drivers
Inventory/warehouse team
Driver Support
— Provide instructions, handle issues on the road, and ensure drivers have correct paperwork and parts.
Problem Solving
— Address missing parts, backorders, incorrect deliveries, or customer complaints quickly and professionally.
Inventory Awareness
— Work closely with the parts manager to understand stock levels, incoming shipments, and substitutions.
Documentation & Systems
— Use dealership DMS systems (CDK, and automated dispatch system Elite Extra) to track orders, print invoices, and log deliveries.
Customer Service
— Maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts by ensuring reliability and responsiveness.

Previous dealership or auto parts experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks
