Job Responsibilities
Merchandising the parts sales floor
Run and help promote parts specials
Maintaining the appearance of the lot
Pumping propane for attending customers
Order inventory that will get our customers excited
Coordinate with suppliers
Inventory management and verify that all parts are correctly stocked and displayed for optimal visibility and accessibility
Organize merchandise and participate in modifying displays to reflect current inventory, sales, and promotions
Implement strategies to increase sales and meet sales targets
Greet customers and assist them in finding the parts they are looking for, including answering questions, educating on product usage, and providing advice for maintenance and installation
Intervene in situations where a customer is dissatisfied and come up with creative solutions to maintain business when dealing with backorders, damaged parts, or stock‑outs
Inspect returned parts to find defects and promptly assist the customer with a replacement part or a full refund
Other duties as assigned
Required
High school diploma or equivalent degree
Weekend availability
Able to quickly learn about a variety of parts
Personable, friendly, and willing to listen
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and management
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred
One to three years of experience in customer service
Previous sales experience
Familiarity with stocking and organizing inventory
Prior knowledge of the RV & boating industry
Physical Requirements
Standing/Walking: Stand for up to 8 hours and walk short distances within the dealership
Lifting/Carrying: Lift and carry items up to 30 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 50 pounds
Bending/Reaching: Bend, stoop, and reach to access shelves and inventory
Schedule
Tuesday to Saturday
Full‑time
Compensation
$16–18/hr DOE
