MuleSoft Developer
Location:
Washington, DC (Remote considered) – supporting federal agency integration and platform operations
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a skilled
MuleSoft Developer
to support a federal client in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise integration solutions within a secure environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive platform support. The developer will support mission‑critical integration services by developing and maintaining APIs and MuleSoft applications. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless system integrations, maintain platform stability, and support secure, scalable data exchange across federal systems.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain integrations and APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Build and manage application flows using Anypoint Studio
Support platform operations including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MuleSoft environments
Conduct triage and root cause analysis of production issues and provide resolution recommendations
Develop API specifications using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, or similar frameworks
Integrate systems across on‑premises and SaaS‑based Commercial Off‑the‑Shelf (COTS) solutions
Collaborate with security teams to identify and mitigate platform vulnerabilities to ensure security compliance
Support platform enhancements and changes based on system owner priorities
Develop and maintain technical documentation and design artifacts
Full‑time (40 hours/week)
On‑site support in Washington, DC preferred; remote candidates considered
Requirements
Active Secret Clearance needed
Minimum of 4+ years experience developing integrations and APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
Minimum of 4+ years experience building application flows using Anypoint Studio
Minimum of 2+ years experience designing API specifications using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, or similar tools
Experience integrating systems with on‑premises and SaaS‑based COTS solutions
Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java‑based applications and automated testing tools
Experience creating technical design documentation
Demonstrated Advanced experience with:
MuleSoft platform development and integration architecture
API design and lifecycle management
Troubleshooting and resolving production integration issues
Secure integration practices within federal environments
Preferred Qualifications
Agile Certification
DHS 508 Certification
Salesforce Platform Developer 1 Certification
Salesforce Sharing and Visibility Certification
Salesforce Data Architecture and Management Designer
