Position Summary
The Restaurant Server is responsible for providing exceptional, personalized dining experiences to guests by delivering attentive, efficient, and professional service. This role plays a key part in upholding the standards of a luxury hospitality environment while ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide a high level of attentive, personalized service
Present menus, answer questions, and make knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverages
Accurately take and input orders into the POS system
Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner with proper presentation
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance the guest experience
Process payments accurately, including cash and credit transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and tables
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Collaborate with kitchen and team members to ensure smooth service operations
Qualifications
Previous experience as a server in a full-service restaurant preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings is a plus
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service
Valid
TABC Certification
required
Food Handler Certification preferred
