We are seeking a motivated
Plumbing Apprentice
with approximately
1 year of experience in new home construction
to join our residential plumbing team. The ideal candidate is
punctual, mechanically inclined , and possesses a
basic understanding of plumbing layouts and systems . You’ll work under the guidance of a licensed plumber to install, test, and repair water and drainage systems in new residential builds.
Key Responsibilities
Assist journeyman or lead plumbers with installation of plumbing systems in new homes.
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
Read and interpret basic plumbing blueprints, floor plans, and layout drawings.
Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are organized and ready for each job.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite at all times.
Follow all company, safety, and building code standards.
Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors.
Arrive
on time
for all shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
Qualifications
Minimum
1 year of plumbing experience , preferably in
new home construction .
Basic knowledge
of residential plumbing systems and layouts.
Strong
mechanical aptitude
and problem‑solving ability.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work in various environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be organized, punctual, and willing to learn from senior plumbers.
Preferred Skills
Experience using plumbing tools and equipment (pipe cutters, wrenches, torches, etc.).
Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship.
