About the Position
The Delivery Driver functions as part of the Delivery Department and is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading various types of construction and material handling equipment from our branch locations to customer sites. This position is home nightly.
Responsibilities
Load, Unload, and Transport small equipment to and from pre-determined locations with safety and compliance as your top priority
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring all essential components are operational and proper load security adhering to all DOT regulations
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members, sharing relevant information and reporting any issues promptly

Requirements
Valid CDL-Class A driver\'s license
2 years of verifiable driving experience hauling and operating construction equipment
No E-Restriction Preferred
Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card
Safe driving record
Working knowledge and understanding of Motor Carrier Safety Regulations/DOT Guidelines
Ability to secure loads safely and securely
Minimum 21 years of age
High school education or equivalent
Skills that will set you up for success may include
Experience operating various construction and/or material-handling equipment
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions
Will be outdoors traveling to numerous customer locations. The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures. The normal auto hazards will apply.
Will continuously be required to talk and hear; constantly required to sit, regularly required to stand, bend, squat and walk, frequently required to climb and crawl
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 128 lbs
