Position Overview
The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Resource Teacher. As a Resource Teacher, you will collaborate with Lead and Assistant Teachers to implement engaging educational programs and activities. Your role includes classroom support, enhanced curriculum delivery, and adapting dynamically to meet evolving educational needs.
School Year Position – Starting August
No nights, weekends, or holiday schedules.
Responsibilities
Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios, cover breaks, and support teachers throughout the day.
Assist with daily routines, activities, and keep classrooms running smoothly while being adaptable to changing needs.
Support infants, toddlers, or preschoolers depending on where the need is.
Cover teacher breaks, reset rooms, clean up between activities, and provide additional support wherever required.
A Day in the Life
Your day begins in an infant room helping with bottles and diapering, moves to a toddler class for play and transitions, and later supports a preschool room during an activity or outdoor time. Flexibility and readiness to help wherever the team needs you are essential.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Experience working with young children preferred.
CDA or ECE coursework is a plus.
Flexible, dependable, and team‑oriented.
Comfortable working with multiple age groups.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be active throughout the day.
