Job Summary
To inspect and neatly pack product to ensure that bags going to The Customer are of proper quantity and quality.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Visually inspect bag seals, print and position for defaults and quality.
Collect pre-determined number of bags and pack into boxes.
Seal and properly label filled boxes to prepare for shipping. May include stacking boxes on skids.
Construct boxes by folding and taping.
Maintain area around machine for cleanliness.
Qualifications
Ability to count – counting bags into boxes
Ability to read and write English – inspecting bags
Manual dexterity – sorting and putting bags into boxes
Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
Ability to communicate deficiencies to Operator and Supervisor
Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality of information to Company and Federal standards.
Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Must be dependable and work within Company conduct standards; consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Ability to work 12 hr. shifts.
Work in a manufacturing environment around machinery (concrete flooring).
Overtime as required
Follow all safety regulations and rules at all times, including wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE):
Eye Protection/ Safety glasses
Steel toe shoes
Hearing protection
Hairnets and beard nets
Ability to work in a non air-conditioned environment: hot conditions during summer months and cool conditions during winter months. (consistently)
Must be able to prioritize/multi-task, be a team player and able to adapt to change
Work around solvents, ink, adhesives, and cleaners used in the manufacturing process.

Exposure to solvents
Noise – mandatory use of appropriate PPE
Hot/humid summer time indoor conditions
