
Marketing Intern

Position Summary
This marketing internship will support the sales and marketing teams in executing initiatives that enhance brand awareness and drive the customer journey within the homebuilding industry. The intern will assist with market research, analyze industry trends, and support model home and customer experience efforts. The role offers hands‑on exposure to strategic marketing and design, including assisting with reporting, presentation development, and day‑to‑day coordination of marketing activities.

The program will be in session from June 8–July 31 and is based in Roseville, CA.
Job Duties
General Responsibilities:
Prepare Competitive Market Analyses (CMA) by gathering and analyzing market data to support sales strategies.
Assist in the planning and execution of a new community grand opening.
Work with sales and marketing to improve signage placement to maximize visibility and cost‑effectiveness.
Benchmark our products against the competition’s features, specs, options, and pricing.
Work with sales and marketing on ways to improve traffic to our website and local communities.
Attend and participate in sales and project plan meetings.
Take ownership of CMA preparation and share insights with the team.
Conduct research using industry tools and resources (e.g., Ryness, John Burns, BIA).
Key Qualifications
Interest in sales, marketing, data and market research preferred.
Detail‑oriented, organized and follows tasks through to completion.
Able to manage time wisely and work within deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Flexible, able to anticipate, prioritize and multi‑task.
Must be computer literate, with intermediate experience in Windows, Word, and Excel.
Capable of working independently and as part of a small team.
Special Projects
Interns will actively participate in projects within their team and department, contributing to real business initiatives throughout the program. They will also complete a final project at the end of the internship showcasing the skills, knowledge, and insights they have gained, and highlighting their contributions to the organization.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this role is between $17.50 and $20.00 per hour, with wages paid on a bi‑weekly basis.

Physical Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary position. It requires the ability to hear, type, and talk. Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard. The primary work location is a corporate office with low to moderate noise levels. Appropriate business apparel and professional appearance is expected.
