Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist in the Heart and Vascular Center is responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role ensures high-quality imaging, proper patient positioning, and precise equipment adjustments to assist physicians in guiding catheters, wires, and implantable devices such as stents and pacemakers. The technologist maintains strict adherence to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff while optimizing image clarity. Additionally, the position supports procedural efficiency through equipment preparation, sterile technique, and coordination of workflow within the lab.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS Licensed Radiologic Technologist and 5 years of Radiologic Technologist experience. Must be CPR Certified.
Work Days:
M-F Normal Business Hours for HVC 7-4
