Job description
Allied Risk Management is hiring Part‑Time Weekend Security Guard positions in and around NYC.
Required qualifications
NYS Security Guard License
S-60 Fire Guard License
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (for construction)
Valid Driver’s License or ID Card
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Call the police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
Deter/prevent theft.
Secure designated areas.
Patrol areas for suspicious activity.
Report daily activities.
Respond to alarms.
Walking around and standing may be required during vertical and perimeter patrol.
Good communication skills.
Tools required:
A working phone with the capabilities of downloading apps that are needed for our time and attendance platform.
People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.
Experience
Security: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
S-60 Fire Guard License (Required)
